What type of SSL Certificate do I need for my website?

In most cases our standard Comodo SSL Certificate will be fine for securing a single domain. If you have multiple domain names to be secured then you should consider a PositiveSSL Multi-domain Certificate. Alternatively a Comodo SSL Wildcard Certificate will protect multiple sub-domains with a single Certificate.

Extended Validation SSL certificates offer the highest available levels of authentication across any SSL certificate type. The green address bar prominently displays your company name and provides highly visual assurance to customers that your site is secure. These certifiactes have extensive and strict validation requirements. You can see those in the 'What are the validation requirements with EV SSL Certificates?' FAQ in the 'SSL Cert Validation' section.

An ExchangeSSL certificate provides SSL support for Exchange Servers (2007 and greater). These can also be referred to as UCC SSL certificates (Unified Communications Certificate).
