Outlook 2013 Email Setup Guide

Remember your username is your full email address.


Step 1.
Open Outlook and Click on File in the upper left.

Click Add Account.

Step 3.
Select Manual setup, then click Next.

Step 4.
Select POP or IMAP, then click Next.
POP will download email to your local computer. You can choose later in this setup whether to leave a copy on the server or not.
IMAP will sync with the server so an email deleted on your computer will be deleted from the server and not show on another device (such as phone, tablet, etc).

Step 5.
Fill in the fields:
Your name: what you want people to see when they get an email from you.
Email address: Your full Freeparking email address.
Account Type: POP3 or IMAP
Incoming mail server:
Outgoing mail server:
User name: your full Freeparking email address
Password: as you have set up
Put a tick in the Remember password box and click More Settings.

Step 6.
Click on the Outgoing Server tab.
Make sure the first two items are selected (this is for an IMAP or POP3 account).

Step 7.
Click on the Advanced tab.
For an IMAP account use the below settings.
Incoming Port: 993
Encrypted connection: SSL
Outgoing Port: 465
Encrypted connection: SSL
Root folder path: INBOX (all upper case, no spaces)

For a POP account use the below settings.

Incoming Port: 995
Encrypted connection: SSL
Outgoing Port: 465
Encrypted connection: SSL

Step 8.
Click Next.
Outlook will test the account settings.

Test settings

If both the incoming and sending tests complete, you will see two ticks and they will say completed. Click Close.


Step 9.
Click Finish if you’re done, or Add another account if you want to add another email address.
