Windows Live Mail Setup Guide

Step 1. Click Accounts from the top menu, then click the Email button

Step 2. Fill in the following fields and tick the option Manually configure server settings and click Next.

Step 3. Fill in the following fields with the below information and click Next.

Incoming Server Information

  • Server Type: Pop (or Imap)
  • Server Address:
  • Port: 995 (For Imap use 993)
  • Requires a secure connection (SSL): Ticked
  • Authenticate Using: Clear Text
  • Logon Username: Your full email address.

Outgoing Server Information

  • Server Address:
  • Port: 465
  • Requires a secure connection (SSL): Ticked
  • Requires Authentication: Ticked

Configure server settings


Step 4. Click the Finish button. You can now use Windows Live Mail to send and receive.
