General Store Settings in OpenCart

Step 1. When logged into your OpenCart admin, click the System icon then Settings.



Step 2. Tick the box next to your store name and click the Edit button. If this is your first time using OpenCart, the store name will be showing as My e-commerce (Default).

Step 3. The first tab is important, as it contains contact information that will be displayed to your customers on the store front and contact page. The fields Store Name, Store Owner, Address, E-mail and Telephone must be filled in.

Step 4. Click the blue Save button in the top right corner.
